ಏನಿದು? ಎನಾದರೂ ಬರೆಯಬೇಕು ಅಂತ ಎನೇನೋ ಬರೆದು ನಮ್ಮ ತಲೆ ಕೆಡಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಅಂತ ಮನಸಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಅಂದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಡಿ..ಹಾಗೇನು ಇಲ್ಲಾ. ನಾವು ವಾದ ಮಾಡೋಕೆ ನಿಂತರೇ ಮುಕ್ತ ಮುಕ್ತ ಧಾರವಾಹಿ ಸಿ.ಎಸ್.ಪಿ ಇದ್ದ ಹಾಗೆ .ಒಮ್ಮೆ ಇದನ್ನು ಓದಿ ನೋಡಿ.
ಒಮ್ಮೆ ಅಕ್ಬರ್ ಆಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರೋ ಒಬ್ಬಾ ಮೇಧಾವಿಯೊಬ್ಬ "ನಾವೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕುರುಡರು ,ಈ ಆಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವ ಒಬ್ಬ ಸಣ್ಣ ಸೈನಿಕನಿಂದ ಹಿಡಿದು ರಾಜನಿಂದ ಎಲ್ಲರು ಕುರುಡರು ,ಕಣ್ಣಿದ್ದೂ ಕುರುಡರು. ಇದನ್ನು ನಿರೂಪಿಸುವಿರಾ ?" ಎಂದು ಸವಾಲು ಹಾಕಿದನು . ಇದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದ ಅಕ್ಬರ್ ಮೇಧಾವಿಗೆ ತಲೆ ಕೆಟ್ಟಿದೆ,ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಬಾಯಿಗೆ ಬಂದ ಹಾಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಎಂದು ಕೋಪಗೊಂಡು ಅವನನ್ನು ಶಿಕ್ಷಿಸಲು ಮುಂದಾದನು .ಆಗ ಅಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಇದ್ದ ಬೀರಬಲ್ " ಇದು ನಿಜ ,ಅವನು ಹೇಳಿದ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಮಾತು ಸತ್ಯ . ಇದನ್ನು ಸತ್ಯ ಎಂದು ನಿರೂಪಿಸಲು ನನಗೆ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಕಾಲಾವಕಾಶ ಕೋರುತ್ತೇನೆ ಕೋಪದಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಜ ಯಾವುದೇ ತೀರ್ಮಾನ ತೆಗದು ಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು ಸೂಕ್ತ ಅಲ್ಲಾ " ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಆ ಮೇಧಾವಿಗೆ ಶಿಕ್ಷೆ ಆಗುವುದನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಹೊರಟು ಹೋದನು .
ಮಾರನೇ ದಿನ ಬೀರಬಲ್ ಆಸ್ಥಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಬರದೇ ಇರುವದನ್ನು ಗಮನಿಸಿ ತನ್ನ ಸೈನಿಕರಿಗೆ ಎನ್ನಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ವಿಚಾರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಬರಲು ಹೇಳಿದನು .ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಹೊತ್ತಿನ ನಂತರ ಸೈನಿಕರು ಬೀರಬಲ್ ತಮನ್ನೇ ಅಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಬರಲು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದಾಗ ಅಕ್ಬರ್ ಪಿತ್ತ ನತ್ತಿಗೇರಿದಂತಾಗಿ ಬೀರಬಲ್ ಇರುವ ಕಡೆ ಬಂದನು .ಬೀರಬಲ್ ಗಂಗಾ ತೀರದಲ್ಲಿ ಚಪ್ಪಲಿ ಹೊಲೆಯುತ್ತ ಕೂತಿದ್ದ . ಅದನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದ ಅಕ್ಬರ್ " ಬೀರಬಲ್ ,ಏನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವೆ ? " ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದನು . ಬೀರಬಲ್ ಸುಮ್ಮನೆ ರಾಜನನ್ನು ಒಮ್ಮೆ ನೋಡಿ ,ಮತ್ತೇ ತನ್ನ ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನು ಮುಂದುವರಿಸಿದನು . ಅಗ ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು ಕೋಪಗೊಂಡ ರಾಜ "ಬೀರಬಲ್ ,ಏನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವೆ ಎಂದು ಬೊಗಳು ,ಇಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದರೆ ಪರಿಣಾಮ ನೆಟ್ಟಗಿರುವುದಿಲ್ಲಾ " ಎಂದು ಬೊಬ್ಬೆಯಿಡುತ್ತಾನೆ . ಆಗ ಬೀರಬಲ್ " ರಾಜ , ಅಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ನೆನ್ನೆ ಮೇಧಾವಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದು ನಿಜ ಆಯಿತು " ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಎದ್ದೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ . ಏನು ತಿಳಿಯದ ರಾಜ ಅದನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಲು ಹೇಳಿದಾಗ ಬೀರಬಲ್ ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ " ನೀವು ಬಂದು ನಾನು ಚಪ್ಪಲಿ ಹೊಲೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವುದನ್ನು ನೋಡಿಯೂ ಕೂಡ ಏನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆಂದು ಕೇಳಿದಿರಿ .ಯಾಕೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕಣ್ಣಿಗೆ ಕಾಣಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲವೇ?ಅಂದ ಮೇಲೆ ಮೇಧಾವಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದು ನಿಜ ಅಲ್ಲವೇ? " . ಆಕ್ಬರಿಗೆ ಆಗ ತನ್ನ ತಪ್ಪಿನ ಅರಿವಾಗಿತ್ತದೆ .
ಮೇಲಿನ ಕಥೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಅಥವಾ ನಮ್ಮ ಸುತ್ತಮುತ್ತಲಲ್ಲಿರುವವರ ಕುರುಡುತನಕ್ಕೆ ಒಂದು ಸಾಕ್ಷಿ ಅಷ್ಟೇ.ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೈನಂದಿನ ಬದುಕನ್ನು ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ನೀವುಗಮನಿಸಿದರೆ ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಅನೇಕ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಗಳು ಸಿಗುತ್ತವೆ .ಒಮ್ಮೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಾಲ್ಯ ನೆನಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿ . ನೀವು ಆರಾಮಾಗಿ,ಸೊಫಾದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಲು ಚಾಚಿ ಕೊಂಡು ಟಿವಿ ಕೂತಿರುತ್ತೀರಾ. ಆಗ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಅಪ್ಪನೋ ,ಅಮ್ಮನೋ ಬಂದು " ಎನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಇದಿಯಾ?" ಅಂತ ಕೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.ನಾವು ಟಿ.ವಿ ನೋಡುತ್ತಾ ಇದೀವಿ ಅಂದರೆ "ಲೋಫ಼ರ್,ಎನಾದ್ರು ಒದ್ಕೋಳೋದು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಟಿ.ವಿ ನೋಡ್ತಾ ಇರೋದಲ್ಲದೇ ,ಅದನ್ನಾ ಬಾಯಿ ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೇಳತೀಯಾ ,ನಾಚಿಕೆ ಇಲ್ವಾ " ಅಂತಾ ಉಗಿಯುತ್ತಾರೆ.ಯಾಕೆ ಕಾಣಿಸ್ತಾ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲವಾ ಅವರಿಗೆ?ಕಂಡರೂ ಕೇಳೋದ್ಯಾಕೆ. ಕೇಳಿ ಉಗಿಯೋದ್ಯಾಕೆ?
ಇನ್ನು ಶಾಲೆಯ ದಿನಗಳನ್ನು ನೆನಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿ . ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಮ್ಮ ಅಡುಗೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಡಬ್ಬಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ತುಂಬಿಸಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿರುತ್ತಾಳೆ . ಗಡದ್ದಾಗಿ ತಿಂದು ಕ್ಲಾಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಠ ಕೇಳಲು ಕೂತ ನೀವು ನಿದ್ರಾ ದೇವಿಯನ್ನು ಆಹ್ವಾನಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿರುತ್ತೀರಿ . ಆಗ ನೀವು ನಿದ್ದೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವುದನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಮೇಷ್ಟ್ರು ನಿಮ್ಮತ್ತ ಚಾಕ್ ಪೀಸ್ ಎಸೆದು"ಬಡವ ಎನೋ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಇದೀಯಾ ? ಬೊಗಳೋ " ಅಂತ ಕೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ . ಅಗ ನೀವು ನಿದ್ದೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದೆ ಅಂತ ಹೇಳಿದರೂ ಹೊಡೆತ ಜಾಸ್ತಿ ಬೀಳುತಿತ್ತು,ಸುಮ್ಮನೇ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ನಿಂತರೂ ಹೊಡೆತ ಜಾಸ್ತಿ ಬೀಳುತಿತ್ತು .ಆಗ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮನಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಉದ್ಭವ ಆಗಿದ್ದ ಕಟ್ಟ ಕಡೆಯ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆ"ಯಾಕೆ ಇವರಿಗೆ ಕಣ್ಣು ಕಾಣಿಸೊಲ್ವಾ?". ಕೇಳುವ ಬದಲು ಅವರೇ ಮೊದಲೇ ಒಂದಿಷ್ಟು ಹೊಡದರೆ ಮುಗೀತಪ್ಪಾ ಅಂತ ಅಗೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಿಮಗೆ ಅನ್ನಿಸದೇ ಇರುವುದಿಲ್ಲಾ.
ನಮ್ಮ ದಿನನಿತ್ಯ ಬದುಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಥರಹದ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳನ್ನು ನಮಗೇ ಯಾರೋ ಕೇಳಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ ಅಥವಾ ನಾವೇ ಯಾರಿಗೋ ಕೇಳಿರುತ್ತೆವೆ. ತಟ್ಟೆ ಹಿಡಿದು ಊಟ ಮಾಡುವಾಗ ಯಾವನಿಗೋ "ಊಟ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಇದೀಯಾ? " ಆಂತ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆ ಹಾಕುತ್ತೇವೆ. ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಿರುವವರನ್ನು "ಎನು ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನಕ್ಕಾ?" ಎಂದು ಕೇಳುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಅಥವಾ ಬಾತ್ ರೂಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕೆಲಸ ನೇವು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ ,ಯಾರಾದರೂ ನಿಮಗೆ "ಎನ್ ಸಾರ್,ಪಿಚ್ಕಾರಿನಾ?" ಅಂತಾ ಕೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾ ಹೋದರೆ ಮುಗಿಯುವುದೇ ಇಲ್ಲಾ.
ಮೇಲಿನ ಉದಾಹರಣೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಣಬಹುದಾದ ಕೆಲವು ಉದಾಹರಣೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿನ ಕುರುಡು ಸಾಮನ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಮುಂದಿನ ನಿರ್ಧಾರ ತೆಗದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಜನ ತಮಗೆ ತಾವೇ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಕುರುಡು.ಉದಾಹರಾಣೆಗೆ ಮೇಲಿನ ಉದಾಹರಣೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಹಿರಿಯರು ನಾವುಗಳು ಸಿಕ್ಕಿ ಹಾಕಿಕೊಂಡಾಗ ಕೇಳುವ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳು.ನಮ್ಮ ಉತ್ತರದ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವರ ಮುಂದಿನ ನಡೆಗಳನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಧರಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.ಉದಾಹರಣೆಗೆ ಮೇಲೆ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಬಯ್ಯಬೇಕೋ ಅಥವಾ ಜಾಸ್ತಿ ಬಯ್ಯಬೇಕೋ ಎಂಬುದು ನಮ್ಮ ಉತ್ತರದ ಮೇಲೆ ತೀರ್ಮಾನ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಆದರೆ ಊಟ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಗ ಊಟ ಆಯ್ತಾ ಎಂದು ಕೇಳುವುದು ಪೆದ್ದುತನದ ಕುರುಡು.ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಯಾರ ಹತ್ತಿರವಾದರೂ ಮತು ಶುರು ಮಾಡಭೇಕಾದಾಗ ಕೇಳುವ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳು. ಉದಾಹರಣೆಗೆ ತುಂಬಾ ದಿನದಿಂದ ಮಾತನಾಡಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದಿದ್ದ ಹುಡುಗಿ ಎದುರು ಬಂದಾಗ ಇಂತಹ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಾಯಿಂದ ಬರುವುದು ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ.
ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ತರಹದ ಕುರುಡು ಇದೆ. ಜಾಣತನದ ಕುರುಡು. ನಮಗೆ ಇಷ್ಟವಾಗದ ಜನರಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಅಥವಾ ನಮಗೆ ಇಷ್ಟವಾಗದ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಿಂದ ಪಾರಾಗಲು ನಾವು ಉಪಯೋಗಿಸುವ ಕುರುಡು.ನೀವು ಹೋಗುವ ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮಗೆ ಇಷ್ಟ ಆಗದ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯೊಬ್ಬ ನಿಂತಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಉದಾಹರಣೆಗೆ ನೀವು ಸಾಲ ತೆಗದುಕೊಂಡ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ. ಅವನು ಇನ್ನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ನೋಡಿರುವುದಿಲ್ಲಾ.ನಿಮಗೆ ಆ ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋಗದೇ ಬೇರೆ ದಾರಿಯಿಲ್ಲಾ, ಅಗ ನೀವು ಅವನನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಕಾಣದ ಹಾಗೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತೀರಿ.ಈ ಥರಹದ ಜನರ ಕುರುಡುತನ ಕೆಲವೊಮ್ಮೆ ಸುತ್ತಮುತ್ತಲಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಜನರಲ್ಲಿ ಬೇಸರ ಮೂಡಿಸುವುದು. ಉದಾಹರಣೆಗೆ ಧೀಡೀರ್ ಏಂದು ಸಾಹುಕಾರನಾದ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ ತನ್ನ ಹಳೆಯ ಬಡ ಮಿತ್ರರನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಕಾಣದಂತೆ ಹೋದಾಗ ಆಗುವ ನೋವು,ಇಲ್ಲವೇ ನಿಮ್ಮಿಂದ ದೂರವಾದ ನೀವು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಹಳೆಯ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ ತುಂಬಾ ದಿನವಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮುಂದೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿ,ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಗುರುತೇ ಇಲ್ಲದವರಂತೇ ನಟಿಸಿದಾಗ ಆಗುವ ದುಃಖ .
ಆದರೆ ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ತರಹದ ಅತೇ ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಕಂಡು ಬರುವ ಕುರುಡು ಇದೆ . ಅದು ತುಂಬಾ ಅಪಾಯಕಾರಿಯದದ್ದು. ಅದೇ ನಿರ್ಲಕ್ಷ್ಯದ ಕುರುಡು.ಅಸಡ್ದೆಯ ಕುರುಡು.ಉದಾಹರಣೆಗೆ ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವುದೋ ಅಪಘಾತವಾಗಿ ಜನ ರಕ್ತದ ಮಡುವಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿದ್ದಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ . ಕೆಲವು ಜ಼ನ ಅದನ್ನೂ ನೋಡಿಯೂ ,ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿದ್ದಿರುವ ಜನಕ್ಕೇ ಸಹಾಯ ಬೇಕೆಂದು ಗೊತ್ತಿದ್ದರೂ , ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಕುರುಡರಂತೇ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಾರೆ.ಈ ಥರಹದ ಕುರುಡು ನಾವು ತುಂಬಾ ಕಡೆ ನೋಡಬಹುದು . ಚುಣಾವಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಗೆಲ್ಲುವ ಮೊದಲು ಜನರ ಪಾದ ನೆಕ್ಕುವ ರಾಜಕಾರಣಿಗಳು ,ಗೆದ್ದ ಮೇಲೆ ಅದೆ ಜನರು ಒಂಟಿ ಕಾಲಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತು ತಮ್ಮ ಗೋಳು ಹೇಳಿಕೊಂಡರೂ ಕಾಣದ ಹಾಗೇ ಇರುವ ರಾಜಕಾರಣಿಗಳ ಕುರುಡು ಕೂಡ ಇದಕ್ಕೇ ಒಂದು ಉದಾಹರಣೆ. ಇಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಕೊಟ್ಟಿರುವುದು ದೊಡ್ದ ದೊಡ್ದ ಉದಾಹರಣೆಗಳು. ಹಾಗೆ ನೋಡಿದರೇ ಈ ಕುರುಡು ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಇದೇ. ನಾವು ಇದನ್ನು ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿಯೇ ಉಪಯೋಗಿರುಸುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಉದಾಹರಣೆಗೆ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಉಗಿಯಬೇಡಿ ಆಂತ ಬರೆದಿದ್ದರೂ ಅಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಉಗಿಯುವುದು, ಸಾಲಾಗಿ ಬನ್ನಿ ಏಂದು ಬರದಿದ್ದರೂ ನುಗ್ಗುವುದು .ಅಪ್ಪ ಅಮ್ಮನ ಕಷ್ಟಗಳು ಕಾಣಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರೂ ಮಜಾ ಉಡಾಯಿಸುವ ಮಕ್ಕಳು, ವೃದ್ಧ ತಂದೆ ತಾಯಿಗಳ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿಯನ್ನೂ ನೋಡಿಯೂ ಕೂಡ ಅವರನ್ನು ವೃದ್ಢಾಶ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ತಳ್ಳುವ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಇದೇ ತರಹದ ಕುರುಡರು.
ಮಾನವೀಯತೆ ಸತ್ತ ಜನರು, ಸ್ವಾರ್ಥದಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿ ತುಳುಕುವ ಜನ,ದೇಶ ಪ್ರೇಮ ಸತ್ತ ಜನರಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಣುವ ಕುರುಡಿದು .
ಇದು ಸಮಾಜಕ್ಕೆ ಹಾನಿಕಾರಿ.ಇದು ದೇಹದ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ ಅಲ್ಲಾ,ಮನಸ್ಸಿನ ರೋಗ. ಇದು ಜನರಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಯಾಗುವ ತನಕ ಸಮಾಜ ಉಧ್ಧಾರ ಕಾಣುವುದಿಲ್ಲಾ.ಇದರಿಂದ ಹೊರಗೆ ಬರಲು ಒಂದೇ ದಾರಿ.ನಾನು ನನ್ನದು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ನಾವು ನಮ್ಮದು ಏಂದು ನಾವು ಯೋಚಿಸಲು ಶುರು ಮಾಡಿದಾಗ .
ಜಾಸ್ತಿ ಬುದ್ಧಿ ಹೇಳುವುದು ನನಗೆ ಸರಿ ಕಾಣುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಅದರೆ ಒಂದಂತೂ ಸತ್ಯ ನಾವೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕುರುಡರು ಅನ್ನುವದಕ್ಕೇ ನಾನಂತೂ ಸಾಕಷ್ಟು ಉದಾಹರಣೆಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ.ಇದರಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಯಾವುದೇ ತರಹದ ಕುರುಡಿನಿಂದ ನಾನು ಬಳಲುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲಾ ಅಂದರೇ ನಾನು ಹೇಳುವುದು ಇಷ್ಟೇ ."ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪಾದಾನ ಜೆರಾಕ್ಷ್ ಗೆ ಕೊಡ್ತೀರಾ "

is blind. One by one , ministers in the
court started to hang their head in shame as they did not know the answer
except Birbal. Birbal asked the intellectual that he would be proving his words
tomorrow and left the court room. Next day everyone was waiting how Birbal
would prove but to their surprise Birbal didn’t show up. Akbar now feeling
little bit shamed in front of the intellectual asked his soldiers to look for
Birbal. After a while the soldiers returned and said that Birbal was on banks
of Yamuna river and has asked them to come and see him there. Akbar knew that
this was some part of plan .So he along with intellectual and other ministers
went to see Birbal and they were surprised when they saw what Birbal was doing.
He was making chappals on the bank of Yamuna river. First Akbar asked “Birbal
what are u doing?”. Birbal didn’t replied and just showed chappals and needle.
This repeated for a while till the intellectual got furious and asked the
Birbal “ what the hell are you doing?”.Birbal stood and answered calmly “Hence
I proved ur point.” Everyone was flabbergasted and they were looking at Birbal.
Birbal said “All of you were able to see that what I was making chappals .But
still you guys kept on asking what am I doing? Hope that is enough to prove the
point” .And this time intellectual hung his head in shame as he lost challenge.
We all are blind. You guys may be surprised and most of them
even disagree. But I stand strong with my word because I am pretty confident
that you all will find yourself the victim of either one of this or all three
types of the blindness which I am going to introduce
First one Stupid blindness.
Imagine you are
coming inside to theatre carrying popcorn and suddenly you come across another
friend inside theater who is so happy and surprised to see you and the next
thing he asks you is “what are you doing
here man?”. Well there is no need of Sherlock homes science deduction to
understand what you were doing with popcorn inside theater .But still why your
friend couldn’t see it. Often in our day to day life we come across this
irritating type of people who asks this types of question. And according to me
they all suffer from a blindness called stupid blindness. Ya the situation
where people act like blind due to their stupidity. The notable feature of this
blindness is as stupidity increase the irritation increases. An example would
help you understand this. One of my friend’s dad expired and I went there and I
was standing outside the house .Dead body was lying and everyone was crying
around it .The whole situation was pretty clear to state that someone is dead.
Suddenly a passerby comes, looks at everything and asks me “Is someone dead?”.
You get so irritated at these type of situation and even me at that point and I
felt saying “No the guy is sleeping from past two days .We are just trying him
to wake him up.” Actually there is no harm in this blindness as far as I know except
irritation and the cure to this blindness is simple, think before you speak.
Keeping that in mind let’s move to the next blindness called
smart blindness. Let me give you an example to illustrate where do we use it.
Imagine a situation where to do you realize that the next instant you will come
across a person whom you don’t want meet to .That person may be ur ex ,or the person
whom you have taken loan or ur Project manager etc. What will you do? You just
pretend you have not seen them and just take deroute so that you avoid them.
Even though if you meet them what will you say? “ oh you were here .I didn’t
see you at all.” See that is called smart blindness. Sometimes this even gets
better when your elder people use it .let me give you an example .Just imagine
those old school days. On one lazy weekend you are laying on sofa and seeing tv
watching your favorite program. There comes your dad and asks “ what you
doing?”. Now there comes the biggest difficulty, what to answer ?.It’s like
answering yakshaprashn. If you turn of the tv and just go ,you will get
scolding “Where are you going ? Answer me you pervert ?don’t you have respect
“. If you answer to the question “ I was seeing tv “,then also you will get
scolding “ I work and spend my life to educate you and you are spending time
..seeing tv ?”. Funny right .It’s like you are under gunpoint of some bad guy
who has decided to kill you even after you answer to his questions. It’s a trap
.No escape. That’s why it’s called smart blindness.
Well we all use it to escape some bad situation so smart
blindness not an issue. It’s good.
Apart from these two blindness we have another blindness
about which we all need to think about .Third blindness .A blindness which is
not only harmful to individual but individual to the whole society .It’s called
Inner blindness. What is it?Inner Blindness is that when a grown up sun sends
his parents to old age who can’t see their love. This is that blindness when you can’t see the
person who is caring so much about you standing in front of you and you keep on ignoring him .Inner blindness
is that when a success full person who forgets his past and forgets the person
who were reason for his success. Inner blindness is when we see a corporation
tap is open and the water is flowing, but still we go as if we don’t care. Inner[S1]
blindness that one when a nation is asking you to be a part of revolution but
you pretend you don’t see it .Inner blindness is that one where you see only
your rights but not your duties towards country .Inner blindness is that one
where your friend is in some problem and you can help him but you don’t .Like
this there are many examples for this blindness .some of them are around us,
some of them we are part of it .Believe me this is the dangerous blindness.
This is blindness which comes when we forget the humane values .those humane
values like love, friendship, trust, kindness etc etc .A real blind individual
with humane values is more useful than the individual with inner blindness.
Some of you may thinking this is just a problem of individual .Remember drops make
Ocean, Individuals make society .So how the society will be if it is full this
individuals. Well the cure is simple Make your heart a garden of humane values
not a jungle of inhumane values.

and it’s left you to associate with which type of blindness you suffer and if
